Every generation inherits a world it did not create. Its conflicts, alliances, uncertainties, and possibilities arrive long before any individual has had the opportunity to avoid them. Yet history has always been moved forward by those willing to engage with it, those who choose not merely to observe conversations, but to participate in them.
It is from this belief that the UOLMUN Club emerged in March 2025. Founded under the aegis of Sanskritiki, the club was born from a simple conviction: that diplomacy should not be a privilege reserved for a select few.
For far too long, opportunities within the Model United Nations circuit remained accessible primarily to those with the right schools, resources, or circumstances. UOLMUN sought to challenge that assumption by making the experience of diplomacy, negotiation, policymaking, and global discourse accessible to every student willing to learn.
At its core, the club recognises that diplomacy is far more than debate. The modern world rewards those who can listen, negotiate, adapt, and build consensus amidst complexity. Model United Nations offers a space where students learn to understand realities, navigate competing interests, and craft practical solutions.
UOLMUN has grown into a platform for intellectual engagement. We stand on the belief that diplomacy should be accessible to all, and that every student deserves the opportunity to participate in the conversations that shape the world around them.
